Accomodations at this fairytale 18th century castle with peacocks strutting on the lawns, located in the Belgian Ardennes. A Jewel of the Renaissance hunting castle, surrounded by woods and parklands. The castle has 20 rooms/suites in a distinguished but unobtrusive five-star standard. The interior is sumptuous and the decoration very grand with brilliant chandeliers, swagged silk curtains in jewel colors and exquisite antiques. The bedrooms facing the park have wonderful views, furnished for a sybaritic lifestyle, the bathrooms are appointed in a contemporary style.
Daily breakfast is served in the graceful conservatory, filled with exotic plants. Gastronomic cuisine is served in the elegant restaurant amidst candles, sparkling crystal and gleaming silver. The menu is sophisticated and the award-winning sommelier advises on the choice of wine. The restaurant was awarded the famous Gault Millau “Clé d’Or”. To relax after a fine day and dinner, the castle bar offers a number of fine champagnes, old & very old liqueurs and cognacs.
This program is inclusive of group transfers from Brussels International Airport round trip, 3 nights accommodation in double rooms/suites (20), gastronomic meals (breakfast and dinner), motor coach transfer to the race track, one helicopter transfer from the castle’s heli station to the racetrack, the permission to land per helicopter within the premises of the racetrack, Silver entrance tickets (40) to the Formula One Grand Prix, the entire package excluding beverages is US $1,600 per person double occupancy. Additional nights available upon request.
Optional: transfers from the airport can be arranged by helicopter, limousines, traditional taxis (Mercedes) or Old-timers. Visit museums and caves, explore the countryside on the house bicycles or in hot-air balloons, fish, take boats out on the river, play snooker, try clay-pigeon shooting and watch falconry displays, while golfers use the hotel’s practice ground before playing the three local courses. Ride in horse-carriages, seminar on wines and vintages by sommelier Francis Roth, cooking class in the old castle kitchen, adventurous 4W drive with pilot, castle rally, excursions to historical cities and of course, shopping.
